Abhishekam is the process of bathing the deity. milk, yoghurt, ghee, honey and sugar represent the five elements respectively – water, earth, fire, air and ether. A mixture containing all of these five called (Panchamrutham) is a poured over the deity while the initially five have been offered. various Sanskrit mantras are chanted asking the deity to accept these items. Milk is the symbol of purity, Yoghurt is the symbol of love. Ghee gives nourishment, Honey gives strength and Sugar- sweetness. By doing this it purifies the five elements, five senses and Earth’s atmosphere. Our ego will evaporate as we perform prayers to God

Namkaranam is one of the most important rituals of the 16 Hindu ‘samskaras’. Traditionally, the Namkaranam ceremony is conducted after the ‘Jatakarma’ samskaram, which is performed at the time of the birth of the child. Strictly speaking, the naming ceremony should be held 11 days after birth-immediately preceding the ‘Sutika’ or ‘Shuddhikaran’ period, However, the 11th day is not fixed and can be decided by the parents based on priest advice, and can extend even up to the baby’s first birthday.

Shirdi Sai Baba was an Indian spiritual master who was regarded by his devotees as a saint, fakir, and satguru, according to their individual proclivities and beliefs. Sankastahara Chaturthi is an auspicious day dedicated to Lord Ganesha. This day is observed in every Hindu calendar month on the fourth day of Krishna Paksha after the Poornima. The Lord Sathyanarayanas grace is described in a Hindu mythological book called Skanda Purana. He is another form of Lord Vishnu and has four hands like Lord Vishnu, however, his fourth hand does not hold a lotus rather it is extended upward to bless people. The worship is performed usually on a Poornima (full moon day) of the month. The pooja is performed at homes or Temple along with family and friends. after the pooja, the five stories of the Lord Sathyanarayana pooja will be recited this story was once told by Lord Vishnu himself to the sage Narada for the benefit of humankind.
